Dried cinnamonapples in one of my new finds, Pyro from Gustavsberg

I love apples. So you can imagine how happy I got when we got several kilos of them from a friendly neighbour earlier this autumn. A lot of apple pies were being made, but after a while you get bored of that, so I decided to make myself some dried apples instead. While there still is apple season. I simply took out the core of apples, chopped them in thin slices, powdered some cinnamon over them and put a ribbon through the hole. I hanged it in a window to dry. It almost looked like a garland, as I had  a nice ribbon through them to make the waiting period more fun. After a few days they were done, and I now have a nice applesnack to eat during christmas.   Simple but time consuming.
